most famous courses in the world -- Torrey
Pines Golf Course! The name itself stirs the
imagination of golf enthusiasts all over the
world. Torrey Pines Golf Course is located
on the coast of Southern California, between
the cities of La Jolla and Del Mar. There
are two Championship 18-hole golf courses,
the North course and the South course. Both
courses are played by the PGA TOUR professionals
during the Buick Invitational of California
held each year in February. Torrey Pines Golf
Course will be the site of the 2008 U.S. Open.
Both courses feature holes bordering the ocean,
and the view from several holes on both courses
is absolutely stunning.
In October
the Annual Golf Classic is hosted at the Rancho
Santa Fe Golf Club.
